Pip: Clocks, Coins & Rulers
In short
Pip: Clocks, Coins & Rulers is a learning game for children ages 6 to 8 (grades 1–2), made by Kidz Tales OÜ. This is its free demo, which plays in a web browser. We collect no data through it, and it asks for nothing about your child. The demo asks for no name or email. If you type your child’s first name for a certificate, it stays on this device and is never sent anywhere. You can remove the name at any time by clearing the field. It never asks to use the camera, microphone, location, contacts, or photos. There are no accounts, no ads, no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking.
What goes over the internet
The demo’s program, pictures, sounds, and Pip’s voice are files on the website the demo runs on, the same files for everyone. The browser loads them from that website, as it loads any web page. That is the only thing the demo does online. Every file comes from that same website: no outside fonts, scripts, or services.
The demo itself sends nothing to us or to anyone: no progress, no answers, and nothing about your child. Like any website, the server that sends the files sees the internet (IP) address of the device and the usual technical details of each request, such as the browser’s name, because it needs them to send the files. We do not use them to find out who anyone is.
What is stored, and where
On the device itself, the demo remembers your child’s progress: finished lessons, stars, right answers and mistakes by lesson, time spent in lessons, the stickers earned, what Pip wears, and the dates certificates were earned. It also keeps the settings a grown-up chooses, including when Pip naps, and how many lessons and minutes the current play session has had. If a grown-up sets them, it keeps the daily schedule (times for school, lunch, and bedtime) and your child’s first name for a certificate. It also notes small things that keep the game from repeating itself, such as whether a grown-up has seen the welcome page and which lesson was tried for free.
The demo keeps all of this in this browser’s own storage on this device (the site’s local storage), not in a cookie. It sends it nowhere, and we never see it. It is kept until you erase it: the Reset progress button in the parents’ area erases the progress right away, and clearing this site’s data in the browser’s settings erases everything. A private or incognito window forgets it when it closes.
We collect no data, so there is nothing for us to keep or delete on our side.
Purchases
The demo makes no purchases, shows no prices, and cannot take a payment. Behind the parent gate, it only says where the full game can be found.
Children
The demo is made for children ages 6 to 8 (grades 1–2). No one can contact a child through it. We collect no personal information from children, and the demo sends nothing about a child to us or to anyone else.
There are no ads of any kind, and no analytics. There are no buttons that lead to social networks or to other websites. The only way out of the game is behind the parent gate, on the page about the full game.
Sound and microphone
Pip speaks but doesn’t listen. The voice is sentences recorded in advance and loaded with the demo. The microphone is not used, and the demo doesn’t ask for it.
Third parties
The demo contains no third-party code that collects data: no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. We sell no data and share none with anyone, because we collect none.
Your rights
Because we collect no data through the demo, there is no consent to give or take back, and we hold nothing to ask for, correct, or delete. Everything the demo remembers is in this browser, under your control: the button in the parents’ area erases the progress, and clearing this site’s data erases the rest. You can write to us with any question (see Contact).
If you write to us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you. We add no one to a mailing list, we keep an email only as long as we need it to help you, and we delete it whenever you ask. Our mailbox is protected by two-step verification.
Families in the EU and the UK
Kidz Tales OÜ is a company in Estonia. The demo sends us no personal data. If you email us, we are responsible for that email under the GDPR and the UK GDPR, and we use it only to answer you, based on our legitimate interest in helping you. You can ask us to see, correct, or delete it, and you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or to the data protection authority where you live.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will appear here and on its web page, with a new date at the top. If we ever change what the demo collects or sends, this policy will say so before the change reaches the demo.
